SDG is proud to announce the achievement of a new milestone for the EU research project DTP2-052-3.1 – GRENDEL.

One of company’s task is to develop a project for a Pusher Vessel with LNG propulsion.

Now, the Concept Design is finalised and we continue with the preliminary Basic Design.

We are very pleased to have achieved a much greener solution with no compromises in terms of operational capabilities.

The new Pusher is able to fulfil all operational requirements as the classic diesel ones, including the much needed range.

In terms of capabilities, the Pusher is meant to operate the largest convoys on Danube (up to 18 000 tons) with 1400 km range upstream.

These features are making the vessel more efficient to operate than the actual vessels, making it also financial feasible.
